Jefferson County Area of Events

During the Winter Season, parking is banned on Delaware Street to Kansa, and Kansa to K-92. Anyone who is parked on these streets when there is 2” or more of snow on the ground, will be towed immediately. All citizens are encouraged to take this seriously.

Jefferson County Area of Events:

Jefferson County Service Organization:
This is a service provided to the elderly, handicapped, and general public for medical and professional appointments, health clinics, special activities, and shopping. Each individual recipient shall determine for themselves what they are able to contribute toward the cost of the service. No older person shall be denied a ride because of their failure to contribute to all or part of the cost of the service. The following communities are involved: Ozawkie, Perry, McLouth, Oskaloosa, Valley Falls, Nortonville, Meriden, and Winchester.
