Winter
Street Parking:
During the
Winter Season, Public Works Employee Thomas has banned parking on
Delaware Street to Kansa, and Kansa to K-92. Anyone who
is parked on these streets when there is 2” or more of
snow on the ground, will be
towed immediately. All citizens are encouraged to take
this seriously.
Jefferson
County Area of Events:
Jefferson
County's Economic Development Commission has published
an event calendar for our county. You may either click
on the following link to view a list of area events for
Jefferson County or access it through our home page by
clicking on the link under RESIDENTS.

Jefferson County Service Organization:
This is a service provided to the elderly,
handicapped, and general public for medical and
professional appointments, health clinics, special
activities, and shopping. Each individual recipient
shall determine for themselves what they are able to
contribute toward the cost of the service. No older
person shall be denied a ride because of their failure
to contribute to all or part of the cost of the service.
The following communities are involved: Ozawkie, Perry,
McLouth, Oskaloosa, Valley Falls, Nortonville, Meriden,
and Winchester. Please call Information Assistance at
(785) 863-2637 or Bill Kilts at (785) 876-2796 for more
details.

You can now make your reservations through with our City
Clerk, Melissa, at the Ozawkie City Office.
