Residents
The City of Ozawkie is proud of our community and
hope that our efforts along with yours help create a
place that you are proud to call home! This website is
built and maintained in order that you may keep up to
date with the current city information and happenings,
as well as offer access to us so that we can better
serve our community.
Planning and Zoning currently has six members
seated. We work to maintain your property values where
you would like them by ensuring unsightly construction
is prevented. Before making additions or improvements to
your home, a
Building Permit may be required. Therefore, please
don't hesitate to contact the city office prior to
making any improvements.
City Council is made up of the Mayor and five
Council Members, of which our citizens elect into
office. We encourage you to join us during our monthly
council meeting and are most happy to receive your
input.
City Maintenance - A very important task in
keeping our city beautiful. Our city maintenance
employee, Travis Adams, has been working diligently for the city making
sure it stays maintained and well manicured. If you have
any concerns or suggestions, please don't hesitate to
contact the city office.
City Ordinances are written and maintained to
keep our community peaceful as well as maintaining our
property values. From time to time our City Council
reviews and make necessary changes to the existing
ordinances. The ordinances have been made available on
this website in that you may view and save them to your
computer in order that you may have access to them at
any time.
To save the ordinances, either select "Save" before
downloading each particular file and select a place to
save it directly to your computer or press the disc icon
after you have the .pdf file open.
Clubs and Organizations - This is a great way to
get involved with your fellow Ozawkians! Please feel
free to contact which ever club or organization that
interests you. If you happen to belong to a club or
organization not listed, please submit your information

webmaster@ozawkie.org to include in our listing.
