Water, Sewer & Trash Service Rates
Utility Bills are sent out monthly;
at the first of the month and are due the last business day of the month.
Water Rates:
$8.00 for the first 2500 gallons
$1.00 per 500 gallons, for anything over 2500 gallons
Water Surcharge $6.43
Sewer Rates:
$7.00 per billing period
Trash Rates:
$11.40 per billing period for trash service only. Scroll down for more information on obtaining a trash container (Please have your trash by the road by 8am on Monday morning).
Late Fees: A $25.00 late fee will be added to all accounts that are not paid by the last day of the billing month. If the account is not brought up to date by the 20th of the following month, the water will be turned off and there will be a $100.00 reconnect fee added to the delinquent account that must be paid before the water is turned back on.
Helpful Information:
For existing homes there will be a $75. connection fee.

2011 Track Pick-Up Holiday Schedule
Memorial Weekend: All routes will be picked up one day late
July 4th: All routes will be picked up one day late
Labor Day: All routes will be picked up one day late
Thanksgiving: Mon, Tues, Wed routes will be picked up on schedule. Thursday route will be picked up on Friday.
Christmas: All routes will be on schedule.
New Year’s Day 2012: All routes will be on schedule.
MATERIALS ELIGIBLE FOR COLLECTION:

* Metal Cans
UNACCEPTABLE ITEMS:
* Yard Waste * Concrete Rubble
* Refuse from Remodeling * Rocks
* Large Limbs or Tree * Motor
* Used Antifreeze * Paint in Liquid Form
* Hazardous Waste * Fridges with Freon
* Air Conditioners with Freon

One large item per household per week can be collected, some items included
* Furniture * Stoves * Mattresses * Car Batteries * Junk Cars * Paint (Frozen or Dry)

To dispose of hazardous waste products (insecticides, pesticides, paint, motor oil, etc), the County Shop in Oskaloosa may be contacted at (785) 863-2581.

To dispose of tires, Hamm’s Landfill will accept them for a small fee.

Please dispose of a yard waste at the City dump site located by the Maintenance Building on Kiowa.
TRASH CONTAINERS:
Residential Containers: The cost is $3.00 per month for a 95 gallon cart. S.M. Ball bills separately for the containers, on a semi-annual basis. If you are interested, please call Shawn Ball at (785) 393-1051.
Construction Box: S.M. Ball offers 15, 20, 30 & 40 yard roll-offs. For more information, call Shawn Ball at (785) 393-1051.
